Thanks to our local media outlets we are able to communicate news of all sorts to the community through newspaper, magazine, television, radio and online! We send news alerts and hope that our message gets picked up. JDRF always has news! Whether it be a recent research update, donation by a local corporate partner, a family’s story living with type 1 diabetes, advocating government on diabetes impact and the need for funding, event news including the Walk to Cure Diabetes and Miracles in the Moonlight Gala ---- If you want a story, we can get you a story! And, if you have a story to tell, share it! Share it with us at the North Florida Chapter and reach out personally to the media because they love to hear from you! Include pictures when you can – it’s nice to add the personal touch!
