Annual Report
JDRF exists for one reason: to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications. To that end, over the course of fiscal year 2008, JDRF made significant strides in accelerating the pace of research leading to a cure. We committed $156 million to more than 1,000 projects in 22 countries. As a result, our total funding for diabetes research grants since our founding in 1970 now exceeds $1.3 billion.
